


PUNE, Dated 13 June: Antibiotics Limited (HAL), a Government of India Undertaking has taken serious note of certain misleading reports and allegations being circulated in the media and on various public platforms concerning the status of the Company, its regulatory compliance and internal administrative matters.

HAL categorically clarifies that the Company is not closed and continues to function and undertake its operations. Any report suggesting that HAL has ceased operations or that its manufacturing activities have been shut down is false, misleading and contrary to the factual position.
HAL is undertaking infrastructure upgrades ,in phased manner without disturbing the production activities, quality system improvements and process modifications for implementation of the Revised Schedule-M requirements notified by the Government of India. The compliance process is being carried out in a phased and planned manner in accordance with regulatory requirements and approved timelines. The Company remains fully committed to achieving complete compliance while continuing its revival and modernization initiatives.
It is also clarified that certain reports have attempted to create an incorrect impression that regulatory authorities have directed closure of HAL or that the Company is incapable of meeting regulatory requirements. Such statements are factually incorrect. HAL continues to engage with regulatory authorities and remains committed to compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
During internal audit and on further scrutiny of service records, certain discrepancies were noticed in documents submitted by Mr. Anuj Kumar Singh, DGM (Production) and were not found to be in order. Consequently, disciplinary proceedings were initiated on various grounds in accordance with the applicable Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules of the Company. Pending completion of such proceedings, the competent authority placed Mr. Anuj Kumar Singh under suspension. The disciplinary proceedings are presently underway and are being conducted strictly in accordance with law and principles of natural justice.
HAL has observed that following initiation of disciplinary proceedings, various allegations, complaints and communications containing incorrect and misleading information concerning the Company and its management have been circulated before different authorities and media platforms. The Company strongly denies such allegations and reiterates that all actions have been taken strictly in discharge of official duties and in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.
Further one Mr. Amit Parikh, who was earlier associated with HAL as a liaison/intermediary through Ayush Healthcare and whose association with the Company was discontinued due to various reasons, is reported to be actively involved in dissemination of misleading information concerning HAL and its management. The Company is examining the matter and reserves its right to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against any person found to be spreading false information, interfering with official processes or causing damage to the reputation and interests of the Company.
Necessary legal action will be taken as advised by HAL’s Legal Team against the persons for spreading false and misleading information.
HAL remains committed to transparency, accountability, integrity, regulatory compliance and protection of public interest. The Company requests all media organizations, journalists, digital platforms and members of the public to verify facts from official sources before publishing or circulating information relating to HAL.
